Lanmita Phansuwan is an Illustrator and painter. Graduated bachelor degree in Communication Design ( Graphic Design ) and attended Illustration course at Chelsea College of Arts. She does not proficient in programs therefore she began to self-taught drawing, painting and other medium.
Lanmita Phansuwan was born in Bangkok in 1994. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Mahidol University International College, she was more interested in drawing and illustration than in subjects that are based on designing programmes. As such, she has tried learning new painting techniques such as acrylic and collage. Lanmita further attended Illustration course at Chelsea College of Art, London and after having experimented with different media, acrylic together with crayon, oil pastels and coloured pencil have became her main focus. Nature and animals ,especially cats, have always been an inspiration in her works, which sometimes employ unusual colour scheme. Additionally, her women figures are often portrayed in unique fashion. The artist has exhibited her works on several projects and occasions including a painted sculpture at “ The Journey of Mouse”, (2020) and a mural painting at Darunbannalai Children’s Library ( Bangkok ). She also does commissioned works for both Thai and foreign clients.
